Cybrary’s founders have over 30 years of IT and cyber security training experience collectively. As free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC’s) began to become accepted, they grew the belief that education should be free, for everyone across the globe. Based on this strong belief, and their expertise and resources, they created Cybrary. Their goal is to create an even playing field for anyone that wants to learn IT and cyber security, at any level.

 

How Can the Training Remain Free?

 

The website is primarily funded by ads, as well as sponsored content such as white papers. They also offer course completion badges and certificates of completion for a small fee. The certificates of completion are often helpful for obtaining credit for CPE’s and CEU’s from certification organizations that require them to maintain certifications.
